Aggressive. Thorough. Results-Oriented.
Attorney Aneeq Ahmad has been a practicing attorney for approximately two years. Prior to going solo, he was an Associate for Kirk Obear, Attorney at Law in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, one of the best criminal defense firms in the state. In this role, he focused exclusively on criminal defense and appeals, and conducted several trials. Internships at both the local State Public Defender’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office helped prepare him for running his own practice. He is able to see both sides of an argument and is also able to understand how a Court will decide a case, from his experience as a clerk for the Arizona Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Before that, Attorney Ahmad graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in May 2011. He was a recipient of the Dean’s Honor List. During law school, Attorney Ahmad clerked for Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, a large law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a member of the law school’s competitive Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, which honed his trial and oral advocacy skills. He had the unique opportunity of studying abroad in England at the University of Sheffield. He fondly remembers the peculiar fashion sense of the Brits and quirky English accents throughout the country. However, he does not miss the cuisine.
